DKW
DKW (Dampf-Kraft-Wagen) var en tysk bil og motorcykelfabrik, stiftet i 1916 af den danske ingeniør Jørgen Skafte Rasmussen. Fabrikken lå i Zshopau, Saxen, og firmaets start var produktion af fittings til dampanlæg. De først 2-takts motor blev fremstillet i 1919, og motorerne blev i første omgang sat på motorcykler, men motorerne var også starten på de DKW biler, der blev populære i 1930’erne. I 1930’erne var DKW verdens største producent af motorcykler, og i 1932 slog DKW sig sammen med Audi, Horch og Wanderer, og dannede Auto Union, hvor DKW spillede en hovedrolle i firmaets udvikling.
