50 jaar DAF productie in België
In 2016 viert DAF 50 jaar productie in België. Dit is een impressie van de feestelijke familiedag voor de DAF medewerkers in Westerlo.
DAF
DAF er grundlagt i 1928 af Hub van Doorne i Eindhoven, Holland som maskinfabrik. Krisen i 30’erne fik selskabet til at lede efter nye muligheder, og i 1932 skiftede man navn til Van Doorne Aanhangerwagenfabriek N.V. Under 2. Verdenskrig byggede man køretøjer til transport af artilleri, og efter krigen skiftede man igen navn, nu til Van Doorne’s Automobiel Fabrik N.V., forkortet til DAF. I 1949 begyndte man at fremstille lastbiler med Leyland motorer, og i 1958 begyndte man at producere personbiler, som især blev kendt for variomatic gearkasse, som er et trinløst automatgear med kilerem. Personbilerne blev solgt til Volvo i 1975. Den sidst udviklede DAF, model 77, kom på markedet som Volvo 343. DAF producerer fortsat lastbiler.

This movie shows the great CO2 achievements made in the past decades and the great steps that will be made in future.
Over the last decade average fuel consumption and therefore CO2 emissions of a long distance truck has been reduced by 14%. Additional steps will be made: Enhanced aerodynamics will result in reduced CO2 emissions. There is also an opportunity to improve the driver’s fields of vision.

EcoMode during daily practise (EN)
Most driving conditions don’t require full acceleration. ECO Mode is a new standard feature on all Euro 6 CF and XF models with PACCAR MX engine to save fuel by reducing engine torque by 10% in the first eleven gears. ECO Mode defaults to ‘ON’ but you can over-ride this function. Simply press the button on the end of this stalk in situations where maximum torque is needed, for instance on a steep climb.

Cele mai multe condiții de conducere nu necesită accelerare completă. Modul ECO este o nouă caracteristică standard la toate modelele Euro 6 CF și XF cu motor PACCAR MX de a economisi combustibil prin reducerea cuplului motorului cu 10%, în primele unsprezece treptele de viteză. Modul ECO implicit "ON", dar puteți supra-plimbare această funcție. Pur și simplu apăsați butonul de pe capătul acestui tulpină în situațiile în care este nevoie de un cuplu maxim, de exemplu pe o urcare abruptă.
EcoMode w codziennym użytkowaniu (PL)
Większość warunków jazdy nie wymaga pełnego przyspieszenia. Tryb Eco to nowa standardowa funkcja dostępna we wszystkich modelach CF oraz XF Euro 6 wyposażonych w silnik PACCAR MX, która umożliwia niższe zużycie paliwa przez redukcję momentu obrotowego silnika o 10% na pierwszych jedenastu biegach. Domyślnie tryb Eco jest włączony, ale istnieje możliwość wyłączenia tej funkcji. Wystarczy nacisnąć przycisk na końcu tej dźwigni w przypadku, gdy wymagany jest maksymalny moment obrotowy, np. przy stromym podjeździe.
ECOMODE in de praktijk NL
Standaard op de nieuwe 2015 Edition: Eco Mode. Daarmee wordt het motorkoppel in de eerste elf versnellingen met 10% gereduceerd. Want in het merendeel van de situaties hoeft toch niet voluit geaccelereerd te worden – al blijft die mogelijkheid bestaan door een druk op de knop. Eco Mode betekent in de dagelijkse praktijk een extra brandstofbesparing van 1%.
